ur family has been producing fine maple syrup since 1980 on land that has been in the family for over 100 years. The maple sap is gathered in the spring of the year and boiled over a wood fire until it is a sweet golden syrup. It is then graded, pressure filtered and packed in glass and plastic containers that would best fit your needs.
Grade A Medium Amber
|
|
| |
A good flavored maple syrup for
use on pancakes, waffles and French toast. This has a milder maple flavor that is preferred by some. |
Grade A Dark Amber
|
|
| |
A stronger flavored maple syrup
that has the same uses as the medium amber. It is also generally used as a cooking syrup due to the heartier flavor. |
Grade B
|
|
| |
This syrup has the strongest
flavor and is often sought out by the health food community. An excellent choice for cooking baked beans,
gingerbread cookies, peasant breads (think uses for molasses) and might even be
tried as a table syrup for the adventurous, although I don’t think I would. |
